Is good for comfortable clothes!

This fabric is see-through and not very soft. Because the weave is quite loose, it can be a bit challenging to use for clothing.
Is it suitable as a base for traditional rug hooking?

I’m not completely sure, but this fabric might be too soft or lightweight to serve as a stable base for traditional rug hooking.
Could it be used for a butterfly chair?

I don't think so. This fabric is not strong enough for people's weight.
I would like to dye it with indigo but need to make sure the oils and wax are not present. Does it hold up to scouring with hot water and soda ash?

This fabric does not have any oil, wax, softner. And I am sure it can hold hot water. I am not sure about soda, is it a process of natural dyeing? If it is not too strong soda, it should be okay.
