Linen Polyester Blend Gingham Check Fabric – Special Melange Effect, Pre-Washed 8107

This unique and special fabric combines the timeless gingham check pattern with a modern melange effect. Made from 14s linen and a blend of 40s polyester/linen mixed yarn, the fabric achieves its two-tone melange look through a vintage delave dyeing process. The linen yarn is dyed using this method, while the polyester/linen blend yarn is dyed only on the linen side, creating a sophisticated contrast. The different yarns are twisted together to enhance the texture and softness of the fabric.

With a medium weight of 210 g/sqm (6.19 oz per square yard), this fabric offers durability and comfort, making it ideal for apparel like shirts, dresses, and light jackets. Pre-washed for a soft handfeel, it provides both structure and breathability. The fabric has no elasticity, allowing it to maintain its shape while offering a relaxed drape.
